Future Cities Laboratory is home to a wide and diverse research community made of students, Post-doctoral researchers, professors, managers and administrators, most of which is operating in the two research hubs of Zurich and Singapore, separated by more than 10'000km. In both hubs the teams are spread in different locations of the respective university campuses and finally some team members are also operating in various global, often remote locations. The Engagement Platform is connecting all team members into a single research community.
Future Cities Laboratory Global brings together a broad network of collaborators and partners from the industry, from NGOs, governmental and inter-governmental institutions as well as from other academic and research institutes scattered all around the globe. The Engagement Platform is offering to all our stakeholders an open stage to share views, trends, knowledge, experience and data.
Overall the Engagement Platform is a cyber-physical space designed to bring together or diverse community and network, our multiple research methods and targets and to help us delivering an impactful outcome. This is happening:
- through an holistic approach;
- through a network of people and ecosystems;
- by fostering resilience and responsiveness;
- by federating all in-house developed tools.
